Overview:
This archived webinar explores the experiences of violence among neonatal nurses. Violence in healthcare is a global concern, with nurses most likely to be targeted. However, much of the existing research focuses on emergency, psychiatric, and long-term care settings, leaving other areas underexplored. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, eight neonatal nurses from across Canada shared their experiences of both vertical and horizontal violence in the NICU. The findings offer valuable insights that can help inform efforts to better understand, prevent, and address workplace violence in neonatal care settings. We hope you’ll join us for this important discussion.
